The OURYE story considered comfort

The OURYE story considered comfort

OURYE was started to fill a gap in the European wardrobe — the considered, vintage-in-spirit middle ground between fast fashion and luxury that costs a month's rent. Pieces meant to be reached for, season after season.

How we work

OURYE works on a slow, considered cadence. We sit with each piece for three weeks before approving it into the edit. We choose buttons individually, pick linings by hand, and reject the calendar pressure to launch faster. A piece enters the edit when it meets the material, fit, and longevity standards — not because the season says so.

What we make

Outerwear

Wool overcoats, camel and charcoal. Hooded parkas. Wool trench coats. Outerwear is the OURYE anchor — it sets the silhouette of every other layer.

Knitwear

Cashmere cardigans, merino turtlenecks, wool pullovers. Our note on cashmere explains why we obsess over fibre grade. The knitwear in our curated edit is the daily wardrobe core.

Tailoring

Wool trousers, blazers, a small line of silk and linen for warmer hours. Read the materials guide for the fibres behind each piece.

Leather

Chelsea boots, oxfords, loafers, leather bags. Vegetable-tanned. Designed to earn a decade of patina.

What we will never make

Synthetic-heavy blends. Graphic prints. Logo-heavy anything. Y2K. Activewear that looks like activewear. Pieces designed for a single season. None of these are new ideas. That is the point.

What considered means

In materials

Wool, cashmere, merino, linen, silk, cotton, leather. Six fibre families, each chosen for a specific role. Detailed in our materials guide.

In pace

We sit with a sample for three weeks before approving production. We choose buttons individually. We pick linings by hand. A piece enters our edit when it meets the material, fit, and longevity standards — not because the calendar says so.

In intention

Every piece should answer a single question: would you want to be reaching for it five winters from now? If yes, it joins the edit. If no, it does not.
